Seven fires in one week: what Singapore reported, 31 August–6 September 2026

From 31 August to 6 September, at least seven fires made the public record in Singapore. One person died. Six other people were taken to hospital. About 100 people were evacuated from the incidents with published evacuation figures.

This is what was actually reported. It is not a complete SCDF log. Causes were still under investigation. Neighbour guesses, a glowing joss-paper cage near a grass patch, and appliance chatter are not official findings, so they are not written here as fact.
