Data Protection Notice

This Data Protection Notice (“Notice”) sets out the basis on which LINGJACK may collect, use, disclose or otherwise process personal data in accordance with the PDPA.

Personal Data

  1. “Customer” means an individual who:

    • (a) has contacted us through any means to find out more about our goods or services, or
    • (b) has entered into a contract with us for the supply of goods or services.

    “Personal data” means data about a customer who can be identified from that data or from that data and other information we have or are likely to have access to.

  2. Examples of personal data we may collect include name, NRIC, contact information, nationality, gender, date of birth, marital status, photographs, employment, financial information, website activity, and transaction history.

    Note: Business Contact Information (BCI) used strictly for B2B purposes is not covered under PDPA.

  3. Other terms in this Notice follow the meanings given in the PDPA.

  1. We generally collect personal data only with your consent or where permitted or required by law.

  4. Withdrawal does not affect lawful processing under PDPA.

Access and Correction of Personal Data

  1. You may request access to or correction of your personal data via our DPO.
  2. A reasonable fee may apply for access requests.
  3. We aim to respond within 30 days or provide a timeline if more time is needed.

Protection of Personal Data

  1. We use administrative, physical, and technical measures to safeguard data (e.g., antivirus, encryption, access controls).
  2. While we strive to protect your data, no method is 100% secure.

Accuracy of Personal Data

  1. Please inform us of any updates to your personal data.

Retention of Personal Data

  1. We retain personal data only as long as necessary or legally required.
  2. We will cease retention when it is no longer needed for business or legal reasons.

Transfers Outside Singapore

  1. If personal data is transferred abroad, we will obtain your consent and ensure comparable protection.

Data Breach Notification

  1. Under the PDPA Amendment Act 2020 (effective 1 Feb 2021), we must notify PDPC within 3 days if a breach affects over 500 individuals or causes significant harm.
